Chase Away The Winter Blues - 2017

Personally I am not a winter person and this winter has had some odd weather. Living in the Midwest I have come to acknowledge that I need to keep an ice scraper, an umbrella, and my sunglasses and sunscreen in the car on a regular basis because I never know what to expect. January and February can be pretty tough, no more holiday distractions and parties.

So as the winter blues begin to set in let FSA help you, “Chase Away the Winter Blues!” Our 4th annual celebration will be held at the Grand Victoria Casino Ballroom on Thursday, February 16th from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.

Please join us as we forget about winter for a few hours with an informal evening of food, fun and friends!

We will have hors d’oeuvres prepared and donated by the Grand Victoria Casino, a dessert table sponsored by the Seigle Family Foundation as well as a cash bar, over 35 gift baskets, Fun Time Music DJ, dance floor, live auction and an interactive 50/50 bead raffle called Heads or Tails. Beads and raffle tickets will be available throughout the evening. Beads are cash only and a maximum of 5 beads per person. Raffle tickets are 2 for $5 or 12 for $25.

A few of the items up for grab include an overnight stay and golf package at Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena, Chicago Blackhawks Fan Pack including tickets to the game, and Walt Disney World Park Hopper Passes. These Items are available through the raffles and live auction with many more exciting choices.

Money raised will be used for psychiatric services for children, adolescents and their families.

Admission tickets are available for $20 per person from any FSA employee or please contact Marla at 847-695-3680 or mvandurme@fsaelgin.org to order your tickets. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
